Gavia Sunblock & Protective Cream SPF 60 (also marketed in some variants as Sunblock & Brightening Cream) is a dual-action skincare product that offers both broad-spectrum sun protection and skin care benefits. It is designed as an oil-free formula to absorb quickly into the skin, leaving it soft, smooth, and moisturized without a heavy or greasy feel.
The product provide up to “60 times protection” against UVA, UVB, and infrared (IR) rays to help prevent sunburn, pigmentation, uneven discoloration, and sun-induced skin damage.
Ingredients & What They Do
- Aqua (Water) — The base / solvent
- Octyl Methoxycinnamate (Octinoxate) — A UVB-absorbing chemical sunscreen agent
- Zinc Oxide — A physical (inorganic) sunscreen that helps reflect / block UV rays
- Titanium Dioxide & Benzophenone-3 — Additional UV filters for broad-spectrum coverage
- Glycerin — Humectant; helps draw moisture into the skin
- Octyl Palmitate, Isopropyl Palmitate, Caprylic Triglyceride — Emollients to soften and smooth skin
- Dimethicone — A silicone used to improve spreadability and give a silky feel
- Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A derivative) — Skin-communicating ingredient with potential renewal effects
- Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) & Vitamin C — Antioxidants to help counteract free radical damage
- Carrot Extract — Natural botanical for nourishing / light scent
- Lactic Acid — Mild exfoliant / pH adjuster
- Imidazolidinyl Urea — Preservative
- Other stabilizers, emulsifiers, thickening agents (Xanthan Gum, etc.) to create the texture and stability of the cream formula
